On Monday, March, 8, varsity and junior varsity softball teams played double-headers. One against Blackfoot, and another against Marsh Valley.

Pacia Burrup, Varsity Centerfield, said that she thinks the team is going to do ¨pretty great” this season.

Their first games do well to boost her confidence. Varsity won both games 4-0.  Junior varsity won 3-1 and 4-2.

Brinkley Smith, junior varsity shortstop, said that to prepare for the game she gets the right mindset for wanting to win while stretching and throwing with a friend.

The freshman C team did not do quite as well as the upperclassmen in their game on Friday. They went against the JV team of Canyon Ridge.

Thalia Brunette said, left and center field, said, ¨to improve for the next game we can listen to our coach’s feedback and learn from the mistakes.¨

At the end of the day, all teams did really well for their first game of the season, and are all excited to be able to play this year.

The C team is improving at every practice and can see themselves getting better.

Abbie Summers says that with teamwork and bonding, they will definitely win the next one.
