Highland is consistently following the CDC guidelines by taking a new stance on the idea of individual activities and safety. Even if students do not see the threat, 

Brooklynn Johnson, a student at Highland stated, “I’m not taking covid seriously because I want to have fun during my teenage years, not sit at home worrying about if I might get the Virus, But, I still think that masks should be a requirement.” 

 Not only has covid affected our way of life as students, it has also drastically affected the school around us. Our schedules are full of cancellations and reschedulings, However  Highland has taking a new stance on the idea of individual activities and safety. 

Wallace, Principle of Highland High school said that the safety of the students is Highland’s first priority” so, we are taking every precaution,” honestly the lists are endless like, we follow social distancing guidelines, and every teacher has material to sanitize between classes.
