Avengers: Endgame is still leaving its mark on history

Avengers: Endgame-worth your time?

The Russo brothers, Joe and Anthony are the directors of both Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War, which rank at #1 and #4 on the highest grossing films ever, respectively. The Russo brothers have also directed previous Marvel movies.

Endgame was a financial success bringing in almost $3 billion, while the budget for the movie was $346 million. This movie made almost 10 times the budget in profit.

The amazing writers that also contributed to Endgames success were Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

Endgame is PG-13 and can be found on the popular streaming service, Disney+, or is available for purchase anywhere online. If you’re not like the majority of the world and haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it.

The movie has an amazing soundtrack that really fits with the scenes and pulls at your heartstrings in some of the more powerful moments. Not only is the music amazing, the cast does an amazing job and all seem to really work well with each other.

The cast includes Robert Downey Jr (Tony Stark/Iron Man), Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/Hulk), Chris Hemsworth(Thor Odinson/Thor), Scarlett Johansson(Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow), Jeremy Renner(Clint Barton/Hawkeye), Chadwick Boseman(T’Challa/Black Panther), Brie Larson(Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel), and Josh Brolin(Thanos), just to name a few.

Some downsides to the movie are its length, which stands at an amazing 3 hours and 2 minutes, and the fact that you probably wouldn’t understand hardly any of the movie if you hadn’t previously watched, at least, Avengers: Infinity War or the four Avengers movies.

If you do have some time on your hands, I highly recommend watching the previous 23 movies, which include background stories of main characters.

As of 2020, Marvel has announced 8 more movies and 8 Disney+ television event series. Even though the Marvel Cinematic Universe or MCU is quite a large world, this also helps contribute to a lot of background to the characters and also helps tie your emotions to each character.

Avengers: Endgame did pull at the world’s heartstrings with the end of some of the character’s arcs. However, it was the right time to end one of the major eras for Marvel.

Viewers are probably happy with the way things ended and I’ll give credit to the writers for the amazing way they wrapped things up and covered all the loose ends, yet somehow leaving multiple ways for the MCU to continue on to Phase 4.

Endgame has received many awards and nominations for its efforts and they are well deserved. Some of these include a nomination for Best Visual Effects and People’s Choice Award for Favorite Action Movie. These are only a few of the 17 awards that Avengers: Endgame has received.

All in all, Avengers: Endgame has left its mark on humanity and will be known for years to come as one of the best, and most expensive, movies that viewers have come to love.
