There are about 40 people who show up regularly to Mr. Hopwood’s gaming Club.

Mr. Hopwood mentioned that anyone who wanted to join his club was welcome to do so.

One of the changes due to covid-19 is that they have limited the number of controllers.

They have also limited the number of computers.

Board games and card games are to be determined because Mr. Hopwood voiced concerns about how it would be hard to social distance while playing those kinds of games.

The gaming club does have safety precautions for Covid-19. Such as trying to stay 6ft appart. At the end of every meeting the video game controllers are sprayed down.

The computer consoles are also sprayed down at the end of every meeting to keep people safe.

As well as help stop the spread of covid-19. You are allowed to bring your own devices to the gaming club.

They do however need to be connected to Mr. Hopwood’s Wi-Fi. For the future of the club Mr. Hopwood mentioned wanting to get an X-box 1 since most of the consoles they currently have are older.

Video game suggestions will also be taken for the club as long as the video games are school appropriate.

The club goes every day from 7:00-8:00 A.M in the morning. As well as from 12:30-1:00 P.M. in the afternoon.
