When school district 25 opened of the 2020-2021 school year it had to decide how best to meet the educational needs of its students while maintaining the health and wellness of both the school community and the community at large.

The decision was made to start the year in a hybrid model where half the students attended at a time allowing for more physical distancing. Masks would also be required inside the buildings.

Half of the students attend on Mondays and Thursdays and the other half attends on Tuesdays and Fridays. Any week day where the student is not physically in school is a day they attend school in a distance-learning model.
