Meatball sandwich and loaded potato from Oliver's Restaurant

As I walked into Oliver’s Restaurant, I was greeted with the smell of garlic and other spices. I was accompanied by my ride, Brooklyn Dayley (10), who says, “The food was delicioso.”

We were greeted by a very nice waitress, who asked what soda we would like. The soda was extra fizzy and I personally enjoyed it. As we were waiting for our appetizer Brooklyn and I got to looking around the place. We noticed that it was a family friendly diner. We sat at the bar, which was fun and really gave me the whole diner experience.

Then we got our appetizer, which was a salad. The salad was good it just needed more flavors.

The meal was an open meatball sandwich. It was the best sandwich I have ever had. Brooklyn and I split the sandwich and I was full after half of the sandwich. For $10.00 I think the sandwich is worth getting.

The next thing that we got was a loaded potato that took a while for it to get to us. But when we got it it was actually very good, but we just weren’t in the loaded potato mood. We decided that a loaded potato was more of a dinner food than a lunch food. But other than that, the potato had delicious bacon in it, with cheese and green onions on it, and we got a side of sour cream, but didn’t use very much of it because Brooklyn is Lactose Intolerant.

I would 10 out of 10 recommend the Meatball sandwich if you ever decide to go to Oliver’s. If you were wondering Oliver’s Restaurant is in old town, by the court house. In total we spent $18.93 and I think that if you go there get the Meatball sandwich it is definitely worth it.
