Dolittle does little

We give this movie 2 out of 5 stars for a lackluster plot.

Emma McInelly and Olivia Gummersall

DOLITTLE played by  Robert Downey Jr is a famous doctor who can talk to animals.

With the help of a team of animals, they go on a magical quest to find a cure for the sick Queen Victoria (Jessie Buckley) in 19th-century England.

Based on the Doctor Dolittle Journey novel.

The cast includes Tom Holland, Selena Gomez, Emma Thompson, Rami Malek, Kumail Nanjiani  John Cena, Octavia Spencer and more.

We saw the movie at the AMC theater. Getting our tickets were easy and like normal.

Once in the theater, we realized ads were going to take ten minutes so we left to go get snacks.

Service to get our snacks was fast. The people working there were kind and patient when I did not know how to count my money.

Once the movie started I tried to get comfortable and accidentally bumped the seat next to a frumpy lady who snapped at me.

Her name is probably Karen.

Obviously this is not the theaters’ fault, but this was just my experience.

The movie though fell short of expectations.  We assumed there would a strong and exciting plot.

It was long and uninteresting.

The film was boring and anticlimactic. The actors and actresses were great but the film itself wasn’t that great.

It needed a more solid plot. I do not recommend taking nine or younger to this film.

In conclusion, I would give this movie two out of five stars for its uninteresting plot.
