Come party at the Disney Under the Stars Dance

The Disney Under the Stars Dance is FCCLA sponsored and will be a night full of dancing in the main gym.

“I’ve put on a dance for the past eight years, and they have always been a blast.” said Ms. Rhonda Jenkins, advisor of the dance, in an interview.

The dance is scheduled to start at 8:00 and end at 11:00 on December 14, but Ms. Jenkins says that you can come anytime after 7:00, when they’re setting the dance up.

The estimated attendance for the dance is one-hundred and sixty people, according to Principal Brad Wallace.

The dance will be pretty much anything and everything Disney themed, said Ms. Jenkins when questioned.

You can wear a Disney costume or come casually dressed if you want to, but there are no masks allowed at the dance. The price for attending the dance is $20 for couples and $12 for single admission.

This marks the third dance in the 2019-2020 school year. Ms. Jenkins, the dance advisor, has set up several dances in her years at highland, and they have always been successful. It’s going to be a fun dance, lots of kids, pretty eventful, said Ms. Jenkins in her interview.
