JV football took on the Coeur d’Alene Vikings on Friday, September 27, at the Holt Arena. By the end of the first half of the game, Highland was down 0-8. As the game came to an end, Highland had lost 0-29. This game may have left the JV quarterback,  with a broken hand, but it will be further investigated at a later date. “I think we played really hard. Defense did really well, but offense didn’t execute so well,” says Raimond Barela, a receiver on the team.
