The girls’ basketball teams are having an awesome start to the season recently winning against Century and now this past week have all won against Pocatello High School. Though JV won Pokey gave them a run for their money almost going into overtime, they won 33 to 32. The head JV coach Taryn Sorrel, says “I’m always happy with a win, so that’s always a good thing. It’s early in the season and so we’re definitely seeing some good things, like a lot of potential.” Sorrel also said there was a lot of things that “they could continue to work on especially with our first games against Century and Pokey, those are always emotional high-intensity games, so I felt like getting a win over them… it is a huge victory for our girls.” Coach Sorrel has high hopes for the rest of the season and will be ready to play Skyview November 20 at Highland.
