Olivia Henderson lives as an American and part African. Her father, Joe Henderson, is African American and her mother, Brenda Hall, is caucasian. Olivia’s father was raised on the south side of Chicago. “There was a lot of gangs, drugs, bad stuff” so he decided to play football to escape the harsh environment. He enjoyed football to be more exposed to activities that would provide a better life for himself. Joe was so successful in football he played in the NFL, but unfortunately left the team due to excessive concussions. During this time he moved to Utah for a different life for his family.
