The marching band went to St. George in Utah to perform Synesthesia at the Bands of America and Red Rock competitions during the weekend of October 27-28, 2018. While they were at Red Rock they one 2nd in their division, 3A, and also won the Outstanding Musical Award. Shaylin Prickett, a Highland freshman that play the clarinet for marching band, gave her opinion on their performance at BOA. “I think we did really well.” She said that it was one of their better performances overall. At the Bands of America competition the got 27th out of 30.
