To start off state we were able to automatically make it to the second round, with a bye. Eagle and Lewiston went up against each other last week at Eagle High School. Eagle won their game against Lewiston, with a score of 38-6. That means this week our varsity football team will compete against Eagle. The game will be held at Holt Arena this Friday at 5:30, if you would like to go support your fellow Rams. Coach Nick Sorrell said, “Our goal is a state title, and the only way to get there is to play well and win.” If we are to win against Eagle we will go up against Mountain View or Post Falls depending on who wins their game. Coach Sorrell said how it does not matter who they go against because that means they made it to that game and they are,”taking care of business.” If our Rams play well and work hard they will get to where they want to go.
