October 10th, Century hosted the city meet. It was both bitter and a sweet night. Bitter in cold and rainy weather, yet sweet in recognizing our seniors who will be soon ending their last season. Alayna Sanford explained that it was a very relaxed race day. She says it was a race to just “have fun” and be care free. Coach Hopster also explained earlier that week that it was meant to be a fun race and to not stress over it, because our focus needs to stay on competing well and districts and potentially state.
